As we head into the thick of the "holiday season" and prepare to wrap up 2023, I want to express my gratitude to our community and share a lesson from my former mentor on the importance of receiving and giving in equal measure. Hear more in my final CEO Note for 2023.

It's been a pivotal year for HealthierHere, and I'm inspired by our partners who touched over a million lives in King County, working to improve care and reduce health disparities through a variety of our collaborative initiatives.

I also recognize this year brought real suffering for communities here and around the world. We at HealthierHere will continue centering the voices of people closest to injustice and amplifying community power to create a more equitable and healthy society.
